Wow what a game,i had this on my PC for awhile and never even played it thinking it wouldn't be that good but it is as almost as addictive as chicken invaders 3.I loved this game and play it most days now.I think the way it looks,is well cool and even my 6 year old loves this game although thinks it's to hard for her,i don't think so though.Highly recommend this game and is worth every penny!!

This was a great game, the graphics were amazingly good looking, they fitted the game perfectly. The gameplay was very good, it was an amazing game, I have to give props to the Creator, he did an amazing job!

Platypus is one of those games that stands out from the crowd. Its a shoot-em-up and reminiscent of numerous old skool games, but this one is made of clay, like completely.

Author Anthony Flack has put together a brilliant shooter which looks fantastic. Not only that, but the gameplay is also well polished.

It's not got the biggest and best power-ups, but what it does, it does well. It also supports 2 players, something I wish more games did.

A word on the music - if you're retro chip music fans, you're in for a treat. Not for everyone though.

Reminds me of school, sculpting funny body parts. Marie Rodgers - hmmmmm. She could make a rocket lift off!! I might have to facebook her. One of the weapons is proper cool. Bush (world leader) would love it.

First impression from looking at this game - wow! Everything is made of clay, and it looks phenomenally cool, not to mention very different from your run of the mill shooter.

The gameplay is simple, tried-and-testing sideways scrolling shoot-em-up action, but what it does it does well. Enemy patterns are just right, creating a challenge without it being too difficult to play. Weapons are satisfying, and powerups abundant.

The music is, from my point of view, excellent too; remixes of classic C64 chip music which really hark back to the good old days of gaming. It may not be for everyone though, so there's thankfully an 'off' switch for those who don't appreciate classic music...

Perhaps one of the best things about this game is the fact that it can be played by two players; twice the destruction for you and a buddy!

Platypus is one of those rare games that comes along once in a blue moon... a really original twist on the old side-scrolling shooter with stunning claymation graphics that make this a visual treat!

Platypus is one of those rare games that comes along once in a blue moon... a really original twist on the old side-scrolling shooter with stunning claymation graphics that make this a visual treat!

Fast action all the way with a stunning soundtrack which will bring back some great memories for all you Commodore 64 fans (the music is made up of remakes of great C64 game anthems) and it all adds up for a fantastic package for shoot-em-up fans everywhere!
